The key points:

• From drying off to three weeks pre-calving, feed a palatable, high volume, low nutrient density diet to appetite, with a good general purpose dry cow mineral. Do not exceed 100 MJ/day energy supply and 14% crude protein
• At three weeks pre-calving, increase energy supply to 120-130 MJ/day, maintain 14% crude protein but make sure it includes digestible undegradable protein (DUP) and introduce post-calving production ration. Within these parameters, feed 2-3kg per cow of HST Lift Off dry cow feed through to calving
