HST Feeds is a long established, respected business with a turnover of over £25 million. From their Head Office in Crewe, they provide quality animal feedstuffs to the poultry and ruminant sectors. As a result of continued growth they are actively looking to strengthen their poultry sales team.

As a Technical Sales Executive with HST Feeds, you will be tasked with increasing sales of poultry feed products and providing technical assistance to producers. You must be self-motivated, persistent, possess excellent interpersonal and time management skills and be prepared to go the extra mile to both gain the sale and to continue building relationships. You will have an outgoing personality and have a flare / desire for technical sales.

Previous experience in poultry whilst not essential would be beneficial and it goes without saying that you must be prepared to get your hands dirty working with and handling poultry at farm level.

The role comprises a mixture of new business development, account management and assisting customers with management issues. HST sales are built on solid long term relationships based on trust, integrity and honesty. HST’s aim is to be a true business partner to its customers and not just another supplier.

A full UK driving licence is essential, and candidates must have the unrestricted right to live and work in the UK.

Candidates based in the Midlands area are particularly welcome.

For applicants with current sales experience in the poultry feeds sector the starting salary and overall package are fully negotiable.

For trainees on offer is a starting basic salary of £18-22,000. You will also earn bonus / commission payments on sales giving a first year OTE of c £25,000 with future earning potential uncapped. In addition the company provides a car, laptop, mobile phone, accident insurance and contributes to a personal pension plan. Full, regular, sales and technical training, both classroom and infield, together with ongoing coaching and mentoring are also provided by the Company to successful applicants.
